I assume you are asking about outdoor/inline/recreational type skating. Otherwise, quad roller hockey is massive in South America

I think this is the first decent instructional video I have seen for some considerable time. I did look at these in JJB Sports before Christmas with a view to skating ourdoors during the summer. I wasn't sure about it a the time but now I have seen they have the Naomi seal of approval I will probabl...

If they fit, I'd use them with Hyper Rollos as they are probably much softer wheels than your Belairs. But as the other posts here imply, they are 'nice to have' rather than 'absolutely necessary'.

Re: Skate Tool

loobrush wrote:Just rang Route One and asked them if they stock quad skate tools.

They say they have a tool for inline skates and that it should fit quad bolts as well.

I don't have my skates with me so can't take them in there to check.

Anyone know???

Peter, thanks for the link to the pic. I notice that the stoppers have flattened edges at the back, probably to prevent any rubbing on the wheels? Not really. It's more of a fashion thing I think. Or possibly that it prevents the toe stop from being rotated if the front edge wears - so you have to ...

This summer my son has been skating on 65mm Hyper Rollos on the rural roads of Hampshire. Brilliant. He loves them. He did the London (Half marathon) in them. He'd have ducked under an hour if he hadn't skated round with me. He skates in quad hockey boots with massive toe stops relative to Bauers. S...
