But if I have yours, I too will be good at Slalom... Quite right... them's magic boots ;) (it can't have anything at all to do with the guy in them at all  ) Thanks for letting me know what you love/hate about current FSKs, I wonder how such a similar frame has managed to help with the balance

ooh that's interesting! I guess we weren't going to know for sure about the liner 'til someone tried them side by side (and most people aren't rich enough to do that ;)) It's also bad news to hear that the boot minus the heelplate is crackable.. because if this is right - Salomon's opssibly future s...

Soon I hope - haven't told Mark but am wondering about the weekend after next... will come on my own if he can't make it - no doubt it will be the rainest weekend in the last decade :P Oh, and to keep on topic, I'd be interested to see if these will...

:)

I just thought that with the +Gs they were practically perfect "out of the box" - now there's another £40 to spend - perhaps Ed! will have an importing route by the time these are available ;)

Fantastic review - thanks for getting that Mike!

It's surprising that they got cheap wheels made with Seba brand... I thought they were going to have Hyper +Grip :(

Do they ever do K2 UFS? I know Salomon championed it but the one good thing about K2 is that they make some big skates.

What is it that you guys don't like? The restrictive ankle strap or is it more than that that annoys you? The new liner?

Yeah the official machine makes them frighteningly hot. The metal buckle burns sort of hot ;) So it's not the sort of temperature you would get at home from a hairdyer - although that would be a start! Other than that - go to somewhere with the heat moulder and smile sweetly (or hold up your toddler...

You might have a problem camping anywhere you feel like it as it is not allowed.

Plus unless you are a character from Lord of the Rings you might find it scary to wake up to find a pony licking your face.

But there are lots of very quiet roads with very smooth surfaces (after years of being used by cars but not re-tarmaced) so if you want to see some lovely views on skates (most people cycle but ...

My French is crap so I don't know if they are in stock, but I am quite impressed by their choice of standard wheels with the skate :)
