Felicity Fellatio

Bet she'd be against the idea, given the cold weather!

Cedy is technically correct. The Lameass and PickledHerring slides are essentially identical.

Ed is correct. The Eagle is similar, but it can be identified easily - it is the Pickled Herring performed by an uncool person.

I love the leaving on time bit. Back at the Vic before 10, all good.

Thanks for the skate last night, marshals and civilians alike!

Re: Totally clueless beginner looking for some basic info!

Some people (including me) do the streetskates in rollerskates (aka quad skates), but the majority of people use inlines. Inlines are much more forgiving on rough surfaces such as, well, London. If you haven't skated since you were a kid, you would probably not feel much more comfortable in quads, a...

Re: Noob needs some help!

Skating to work should be fine - just not in the rain. Look at Skatefresh (http://www.skatefresh.com), Skatescool (http://www.skatescool.com) or one of the other ICP schools in London. See a list of resources on Davey's site: http://www.daveyspeedstar.com/?page_id=44. Club Blue Room or Slick Willies...

Moz, please - this is a serious topic about how incredibly moronic Mike can be while still thinking he's clever and right. Can we please keep the jokes to a minimum? Thanks. xoxo

If they had stayed in bed, there'd be no danger either. I reject the premise of your argument, Moke.

Re: Serpentine Road - rules?

Mike, if you're taking the piss, please leave that to others who can do it well. If you're serious, please tell us so we can laugh more. FFS, you seem to be saying that people shouldn't skate at faster than a walking pace on Serpentine Road in case some dumb person should walk out without looking. I...

Re: Serpentine Road - rules?

I'm shocked at the people on here saying pedestrians are a hazard. How exactly? Mike, have you completely lost the plot? There are always pedestrians running out and not looking, making unpredictable movements, etcetera. They are on a road with traffic, remember! You seem to have a bee in your corn...

Re: Serpentine Road - rules?

I take it you've tacitly answered my question about the wrong-side collision above, being that you agree with me that the person on the wrong side is at fault? Mike. There is no right or wrong side. That's why you started this sisyphean discussion: to ask if people thought there should be rules. If...
