1. 'experimenting with a heelbrake.' Why has this not attracted comment? What has happened here in the last 2 years? 2. Having a rocker certainly gives some eccentric techniques a boost. Do you mean a soul slide Van, or an a-frame with an unweighted foot brought to the front somewhat? The latter is pretty easy, the former rather hard imo! Is there really much of a difference, other than how extreme you manage to bring the sliding foot forward & across? I mean, I can't really se...

I mostly do lunge stops, they are dead easy. and you can scrub off a bit of speed with a t-stop or turns first. im getting lazy tho i need to practice some new things :evil: I'm with Phil- imo this is the easiest and most instinctive fast stop on the roads.
