Re: Roller Disco at The O2 SEEFILMFIRST OFFER

I think they're making the skating area bigger this year, from what I saw of it's constuction a couple of weeks ago.

Ok the WNS is the LondonSkate

NTWNS is the skate that happens in the winter when the WNS is running. NTNTWNS skate is a slower skate that happens in the winter when the WNS is not running,

Sparky forgot to mention the pub stops on the NTNTWNS :P

Re: "Take action" weather alert for London & Sth England [SNOW!]

There was a lovely layer of snow on my street last night, but it's mostly melted when I checked this morning.

My flatmates had been banking on more snow and haven't even bothered to set their alarms. They will be very upset when they wake up and realise they've got to go into work and will be late.

Re: "Take action" weather alert for London & Sth England [SNOW!]

I can understand the stocking up by those living in the countryside. Totally unnecessary for the likes of me, in the center of London with 4 large supermarkets and multiple corners stores a short walk away. I remember there used to be more snow in the early 80s (1982/83), pretty sure there...

Re: "Take action" weather alert for London & Sth England [SNOW!]

I just had my mum calling to make sure I've enough groceries in the house! The way they're reporting things on the news she's expecting London to be snowed in for days! Bless. I, on the other hand, am more doubtful - I'll believe it when I see it.

Re: Bringing back the old Tuesday suicides?

If we want someone to lead a moderately paced meander around town, following a random route made up on the spot, I think Dolabriform Dave has shown himself to be the top man in this area. And you're guaranteed to have fun. Dave, moderately paced meander? doubt it on a suicide! although he will alwa...
