Small quad skates

Just need a pair of boots with or without a plate attached. I have the parts to put a pair of skates together but just need some tiny boots...

Re: Bournemouth Skate?

Hi there, a lot of us from Poole skate at Ferndown leisure centre from 1830-2030 on Sunday evening Skating on the seafront in Bournemouth is hard work. The surface is so variable and the sand isn't good for bearings. Our Sunday skate is inline and quad friendly with a good turn out We are looking at...

Re: Skate Guard

Thanks Phil, I'm actually enjoying my skating, not as fast as I was, but that's probably down to the skates I've cobbled together !! An old pair of Vert X inline aggressive skates, with the inlines removed. An old quad plate from god noes what skates, rip roller 56mm wheels with BSD speed bearings. ...

Skate Guard

I think I've gone mad!!!
I've signed up to be a skate guard at our local roller disco OMG
Was a guard at the ice rink when I was about 17/18, but I'm 4 stone heavier and nearly 30 years older. What have I done ???

Indoor skating

Finally found somewhere to skate. One of the local sports centres has allowed 2 weekly sessions in their sports hall for the last 6 months. I've been 3/4 times now, with the kids and just me and the mrs. It's great. No pressure to be the world's greatest skaters, just a great family atmosphere. All ...

Re: Skating in the rain at night

I dont know about the lights, but use a product called Rain X on your glasses, you can get it at Halfords or Hein Gericke motor bike stores. It works pretty well on the visor of my crash helmet

Adult Quads

Does anyone have a pair of Bauer Turbo type quads they don't need. Must be size 11 adult, I don't mind if they are a bit tatty, I can sort that out. The kids want to learn to skate on quads, and it would make my life easier if I had my own. They have matsered inlines and want a try at the skates tha...

I live in Poole its only cycling that is banned in the summer between 10am and 6pm i think. I only ever see the occaisional lone skater, if I take the sprogs it looks like there is a riot as they try to avoid the old bids out for a stroll. The surface can be quite bumpy, with some really good sectio...
