They're a bit different here from the London ones. The suicide bit is because of the big hills more than the traffic.

Was in South Africa broefly last December. Would not have thought that Jo'berg was really the sort of place you would skate, but maybe some locals could tell you otherwise... Capetown, however - definitely! Lots of places to skate, only drawback is that it is possibly the most windy place in the wor...

I bought a pair of padded shorts, and they were too small. Not only that but the pads that were on there were not only in the wrong places, but were pretty inadequate anyway. Waste of money. Are these the Roces ones that decathlon has for 12 quid? If so, won't get them as a friend here asked me to ...

Simon was going down a biiiiig hill in Brisbane nearly 2 years ago now with a motorbike alongside who clocked him at 80km/h. There are quite a few hills in Brisbane that the guys do on the downhill nights that regularly take them over 60km/h. You should see the hills that are around the city here. W...

No worries - was wondering where you had got to! Come for a Saturday morning or Thursday evening skate with us. Just jump on the train if you don't have a car and get off at Southbank - very easy. We leave from Lower River Terrace at 9am on Saturdays and 7pm on Thursdays. PlanetInline (http://www.pl...

Now they all know that I'm the hardcore skater and Simon prefers to just potter along and chat to his friends.

Haven't heard from MsBurns at all. Feeling rejected - don't tell me she has decided to pay for group skates and ignored my offer of a free skate!! Also Duracell - don't you (or anyone else) go putting yourselves out for organising a party for me. I couldn't think of anything better than a lengthy se...
