SS 2nd Sept 2012 - ONE WAY

This week is a one way stroll to the Paralympic Park, well as close as the Security Guards will let us, so I am aiming for Victoria Park. We are going there in order to accompany some crazy, heroic, French skaters; who are skating all the way from Paris, pushing several friends who are in wheelchair...

This week it is the monthly Snail Stroll designed to get new skater on the streets. So get all your friends who say it's too long and too hard (innuendo intended ;) ) to come out, as this week it's NOT. It's just 6 miles and the pace will be slow. You do still need to be able to stop and turn. Full ...

9th Oct. Sunday Stroll goes to the Olympics -GO

This Sunday we are running a ONE WAY skate finishing at the Olympic Park. Its 9.8 miles long, so longer than your average SS, but still doable.
Half Time at Tower hill. The finish is very close to Pudding Mill Lane DLR station, so fairly easy to get back.

Re: SS 14th August 2011-GO

The weather says Yes.
Just hope we get enough marshals (and skaters) and that the cycle race doesn't cause too many problems.
Hope to see you all there at 2pm. :) :)

Mick, I don't really know but I don't think so.
As you point out the weather is a bit iffy and may make the decision for us.
Thanks anyway

SS 14th August 2011-Go

Similarly to the LFNS post, we have been unsure about running a skate but have decided to go ahead. We might be very short of marshals as the Goodwood Marathon is this Sunday. The Olympic Cycling test event might complicate things too.
Any way, details are here

LFNS 12th August- TONIGHT

Sorry for the late notice but we hope to run a skate tonight. Edd is LM and is taking us to Fulham.
It has been quite difficult to arrange, what with the week's events AND the Goodwood Marathon on Sunday, so it would be useful to get some idea of attendance.
