Re: Bones Swiss Ceramic

ive got no idea dude, all i can comment on is the ceramics and since ive had them for years now i cant really compare them to anything. to be honest though, unless you need them for something really specific like speed skating or downhill, bearings dont really matter, technique way outweighs any min...

Re: Bones Swiss Ceramic

yeah ive got a set of these, they are immense. however at the time i thought not that much better to justify the price (diminishing returns etc), however a few years later im still riding on them. so i think the main difference with ceramics is that if you clean them every few months you can get som...

Re: Gyro Skin Shoes

Hi there, Yes SkateBits.com no longer exists. As the UK Wholesaler for Gyro products (ie I sell to shops) it did not make sense to also be running a retail outlet myself (essentially therefore being in competition with the shops I sell to) If you want to get hold of Skinshoes in the UK, speak to who...

Re: Wheel size

See if you can swap the frame rather than the whole boot. 90mm is a big jump so unless you are skating often and building up new muscle memory, your technique is just gonna want to revert back to how it was with your aggro skates so you will feel weird whenever you use them. Try putting 80mm or 76mm...

Re: SkateLondon @ BLITZ Festival 24-26th Aug 2013

I forgot to mention, the Guinness World Records will be coming down to film an attempt at breaking the world records for "Fastest Through The Cones Backwards". While they are there, they can do other attempts, anyone got ideas? Even wacky ones. They suggested fastest time to duct tape some...

Re: Roller Marathon at the BLITZ Festival, 26th August 2013

Here we have a video of the track route. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eOWJR8i-CtM It is an exciting and quite varied track that should provide a good challenge and lots of fun. There is one short sharp uphill, one other incline later on and the rest is all nice downhills or flats. We measured the ...

Re: Roller Marathon at the BLITZ Festival, 26th August 2013

Cool thanks for the info Rick. If the proper distance is 42,000m then that's what we will go for. I didn't make it out to measure up yesterday as a certain plonker (not me) left the trundle wheel on the station platform! But we will have all the measurements and details ready before the end of the m...

Re: Seba High Fit

well the obvious answer is to try them on, but im guessing since you are asking that may not be an option for you to get to an outlet. check the returns policy at the shop, pick one that will be happy to exchange if they do not fit. snug is good, and once you wear them in there will be a little give...
