unfortunately, security scans consider skates as sporting equipment, which is no longer allowed on planes.

as someone with Seba KSJ's, they are a very light weight skate, I'd say a bit less than half the weight of the 2008 Seba High, and also a significantly more streamlined design, not as bulky and oversized.
