Re: Yes, it's time to turn the lights out

I think the smart phone killed Serp Road, I used to be totally addicted to Serp Rd and read almost every post when I started skating, but maybe the decline for me says more about my attention span. Very sad regardless. Thank you Serp rd for the many friends I've made over the last ? years. I'm sad t...

Re: Le Mans 2012

Names could be subject to change, but will probably stick with at least London at the beginning. How about "Not London" at the beginning? ;) That would get around the "Nottingham" lot being unable to change their name. I'm sure everyone else disagree's and my suggestion is more ...

Not working in Germany either, this must be really Bad! On a more serious note, I don't use the forum so much these days, but it's the best way for me to find out what's happening, as I've totally lost touch with what's happening on here and don't know which forums to look in for local news. Trying ...

Great skate!! However lost a pair of enduro sunglasses with yellow lenses. Possibly near the end of the skate or at the Vic. If anyone has seen them, could they let me know. Thanks.

http://petitions.number10.gov.uk/ I think it would be much harder to remove from above, eg "I the undersigned petition the Prime Minister to have the website xxx.co.uk decommissioned for false claims etc etc" [I know it's .com I don't care] Surely this would serve our purpose of publicity ...

Re: Skate shopping on the south east coast

I was the one trying some Bonts and getting told off for skating outside the permitted testing area. Cat who was with me, tried on some Rollerblades. I liked the look of the green Powerslide speed skates, but they didn't have my size.

Re: Skate shopping on the south east coast

I'll be in Worthing most of next week. Spent some time in CBR a week or few ago when Cedy came in and saw his latest creation, for the first time since they arrived in shops.

I guess next best bet may be skate shops abroad. Paris or Berlin, both planned sometime this year.

Skate shopping on the south east coast

Hi, I'm planning to go skate shopping somewhere in the Worthing or Brighton area next week. Can anyone advise me if there any good skate shops in this area? Thanks :)

OK, should probably be more specific and say I'm looking for bigger wheels. I'm not sure locoskates will cut it. Am I asking too much?

Welcome! If you weren't comfortable with the streetskate, you could practice up and down serpentine road. We're mostly a friendly bunch so come down and say hi.
