Do you know what sz USD Carbon IV liner would best fit a FR1 UK7/EU 41? Do they fill more space than FR liners?
My liner's a bit worn & I'd like to replace it with one that fills more of the shell space than another Seba liner would.

Re: After Seba Trix...

Seba Carbons are only £125 from Startskating http://www.startskating.co.uk/#/seba-deals/4577088196 Only 7 & 8 UK listed but the owner - Don Morton - said he has larger sizes in stock, maybe up to 12 so worth checking. I tried a 7UK but the fit in the forefoot was way too loose - the liner was a...

Re: An introduction and a question... (best urban skates?)

Silly question - can Seba Highs take an 84mm frame?

Re: Which Ice Skates

I'd still recommend trying them on though. Ice Hockey skates are usually a size or two smaller than regular shoe sizes depending on the manufacturer. Width can be a significant consideration too. Definitely, even more important than on inlines I'd say as you're balance & feedback is reliant on ...

Re: Which Ice Skates

If you're in London/ South East could be worth checking what the shop by Brixton Ice Arena (used to be in Streatham) have in stock, seem to hold fair bit of 2nd hand stuff as well as new: "Address: We're next to Brixton's new ice rink at 53 Brixton Station Rd, SW9 8PQ Tel: 020 7738 7888" G...

Re: The new fr1 shell

Sorry can't confirm/ deny but after seeing them I thought same sort of thing. If I ever replace my FR1s I'd want to either look for a previous season's model or see how another brands hard shelled boot fits 1st. I appreciate they're not meant for precision/ slalom etc but I wouldn't want any extra s...

Thanks for the reply & yes, PhilÔÇÖs price is good & my Gyros arenÔÇÖt nearly ÔÇÿfinishedÔÇÖ with yet, no complaints with them. Going for Matters as my next set of wheels are likely to suffer more than the current lot. ÔÇÿeasiest to get into a slideÔÇÖ to get sliding with Matters would you s...

Re: £ for £ what are the best inline street wheels and beari

I have Gyro Valkyrie 84mms, to me perhaps they wear slightly quicker than concretes but do slide a bit (have been trying to learn to slide recently). Could anyone who's skated on them & Hyper +Gs (or others mentioned in this thread) compare in terms of grip, wear, how 'well' they slide (rather t...

Seba FR1 shell sizing?

Hi, I skate in Seba FR1ÔÇÖs size 7UK ÔÇô donÔÇÖt know what year, from CBR summer '10 ÔÇô & recently bought another pair on sale from Proline. The new shell looked larger to me, where ÔÇÿ7 LÔÇÖ & ÔÇÿ7 RÔÇÖ are stamped inside the old pairÔÇÖs foot beds the new ones have ÔÇÿ8ÔÇÖ in both feet. T...
