There is a great roof top skating location in Hampstead, Lawn Road (Belsize Park) that I use sometimes, smooth as silk and usually no rubbish on it. About half the size of a football pitch. Go into Lawn Road from Haverstock Hill, as you get to the end, just before Fleet Road, on the RH side is a ca...

Yep, Werm its a unique place which should basically have its own passport controls upon entering and leaving. Its not even England if u ask me ;)

Still, its OK but I wouldn't plan on staying here longer than I have to.

Eep! Nasty...I have been doing some interweb digging and found this little gem though. So, what's the real deal with skating in parks? I confuse. http://www.skateuk.net/press_release.asp Hmmm, a good point. p.s. OB-1 Ever been to the Tuxedo Princess (nestled in the sweaty nook under the bridge) now...

I was in Regents park one day and skated around then got told off by a copper for being on wheels, and he made me change into my footwear there and then. I argued if he was gonna tell the kids to get off their bikes for being on stabilisers but he didn't like my 'lip'. No need to get personal I says...

You'll hear a more common "Nee bovva hinny" or "Nee worries man/pet" as a term of endearment in the toon. Skating-wise, the city is established on hills with worser surfaces than London would you believe. I tried skating around here countless times and its slippery n wet like slipping on dog turd. T...

Yeah the Underground in London is a bit of a joke compared to other systems around the world. However it is one of the oldest and easiest systems to navigate and use compared to, say, New Yorks. Plus it is very informative with service updates etc. The problem is that London depends so much on it an...

Little translation for interested people: Meeting Point is the Brandenburg Gate (on the west side) on the 'Stra├â┼©e des 17. Juni' between 'Ebertstra├â┼©e' and 'Entlastungsstra├â┼©e'. The skates starts at 8.30pm (people meet from as early as 7.30pm though). Start point is also the destination point...

That's St. Reatham.

There's only one bone in my body I don't want broken.
Can you guess what it is?

Skate Night Berlin (05. September 2004)

Hey is anyone interested in checking out the Berlin Skate on the 5th September? I looked at their site http://www.skate-night-berlin.com/allgemein.shtml and it seems quite organised and looks like so much fun - cool pics too and nice routes. Plus I heard the route surfaces are smoother than in Londo...
