allways wear wristpads, all studies indicate these are at risk when skating. quite a few skaters have had fractures (whoch heal well and fast) and soft tissue dammage (which heal very slowly, like ligaments and tendons) the idea is you slide on impact most protections can be washed in low temperatur...

one of the biggest thrills was to overtake a super speed freak on the downhill, the poor chap was t breaking down the hill, and overtaking him after being on the receiving end a good thrashing climbing up the hill was very satisfying
