Re: Visiting London this Sunday, question about skate storag

There are lockers in the basement of Harrods. Not sure what the fee is though. I think it's free if you have a store card with them...

Re: Coming back from really bad injuries

I think it would be good to aim for being able to skate again, but in reality you're just going to have to see how you go.

I do know that Emily was once told she could never run again and she recently completed her second marathon, so there is hope for you yet :)

Re: For free: Powerslide Hawk !!!

Which of the policies they list on their website states that they are duty bound to deliver the order once you've paid for it? http://www.trickandroll.com/en/content/3-terms-and-conditions-of-use The use of the word generally in their delivery page means that they can say whatever they like but ther...

Re: The Life expectancy for good quality urban/slalom wheels

I used to fall over all the time with the black RB wheels, they were so soft it felt like they just stopped dead on stones and bumps! One hot day while marshalling the rubber on them disintegrated quite badly...

How about you just skate on them and tell us how you like them?

Don't worry so much about how they look. If you can't skate well you look like an idiot no matter what colour your wheels are.

Make sure you get them sharpened after you buy them. Decathlon used to have some cheap ones (about £40).

Same price as a new set of wheels, but you get some bearings included in the price. Can't go wrong with that I guess!

My Labeda Gripper Ashphalt are about 4 years old. I probably should have changed them 3 years ago.

Re: Doop Skates - What's the point?

I made myself some 'Doop skates' about 5 years ago using a pair of Xsjado Dustin Latimers and some Salomon 3VSL frames. They looked a bit like the 'Freestyle' ones on the doop store website. Not sure what you're talking about? The call for the skate is usually made in the afternoon...
Status still says pending.
