what are the lightest pair of quads out there that give you decent support and stability? something I can dance in.

I'm tempted to swtich to the dark side. If I can find a pair that's about as light as my Hockey boots I might convert.

Yup Daz has definitely got my point there. I'm trying to get my feet in the air. ie: windmills, breaking flares, apple jacks and handstands. the boot doesn't matter all that much, you can break dance in pretty heavy shoes, its the extra bit at the bottom, ie the frame and wheels that make the difffe...

how grippy are the ones worn by a lathe compared to tarmac worn ones and new ones? since you have some experience doing this I presume :)

can I just goto a hardware shop and ask them to do it for me?

I can't find Labeda lite, labeda genesis, rink rat blue flames or factory Z 688s in that size.

methinks u might be talking about the J-turn. or at least the Last part of a J-turn. One new thing I saw Skali do was an inverse Jturn where he spins the other way. goto Munobal.net and check out the tutorial videos under "school" and see if it is the J-turn you want to learn. otherwise maybe you're...

If I skate outdoors with it, the wear is uneven and hence the soft wheel becomes very much less grippy. I want to be able to skate indoors properly with these. just to compare, my Hyper Unity soft wheels that have been worn are less grippy than new my Volcanix 84A hard wheels I'm guessing a lathe wo...

how to wear soft wheels without losing grip?

After using my indoor wheels indoors for the longest time, they dont seem to wear at all. I like a rocker but can't find my favourite wheels in any size smaller than 72. so I have to buy 72mm ones and wear them down to a 70.

any suggestions?
