Re: Lemons 2010

What I've always loved about everyone at lemons is how everyone pulls together too -when people stack etc and are too hurt to carry on members of other UK teams will go and skate on other teams and do extra laps even when they are meant to be trying to get some shut eye. Thats what I love about lem...

Re: How LFNS started ?

Support of the authorities? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA Simon had a letter hand-delivered to him the afternoon of the very first skate from the parks telling us that we didn't have their support and we were banned from doing any such thing in their park. Simon was pretty nervous. We went ahead anyway. It...

Re: LondonSkate 2nd Sep - Vice City - RAINED OFF

I've just handed in my final work for my MA, so it's ALL OVER after two years! (Bar the shouting). So I fancy having a drink to quietly celebrate... a few Pimms. See you later in The Vic...

Re: SkateLondon Event, August 2009 [exec. summary in 1st post]

Said loads of stuff... Yeah, I have to agree, the front desk of the hostel was staffed by idiots. They were very sweet, but as clueless as they come. I knew more than they did about who was in their hostel after just five minutes, armed with my list of skaters. No idea how Zoe coped. Despite that, ...

Re: Helping out on the weekend of SkateLondon

Oh Vish, you don't fancy doing some Hostel duty on the Friday do you? like, meet & greet & getting them checked in? Zoe will be doing during the day, but then I'll need her at the Vic for more money gathering shenanegans from 8pm (theatre booked). I'll know closer to the time what kind of t...

Re: Helping out on the weekend of SkateLondon

That was pretty easy, they all wanted to eat the same thing. I can handle them from start to finish if you like, deal with them on the phone, ferry them around, just let me know. I'll make sure they're fed/watered/entertained, etc.

Re: Helping out on the weekend of SkateLondon

Want me to handle hospitality? Or horse-brutality as I believe it's pronounced in French. I didn't kill the judges that last time, did I?

Re: Weekend posts missing?

Nothing funny, the server was taken down and this time I couldn't save it. Same thing happened a week or so ago, but I managed to login and kill the runaway processes, not sure where the attacks are coming from, could care less anyway right now. Made a DB dump on Friday (350Mb) and site copy so rest...

Brilliant bag. Keeps all the weight on your body and chest rather than shoulders.

Re: Easter BunnyStroll - GO

That was a brilliant weekend, apart from moody back marshal on stroll, starting with Ray's birthday (or earlier for some) and finishing up with broken Sparky, Mozza and Quaddie playing a bit of frisbee... well done all :)
