PM's not leaving outbox

Postby Bluelemon on Sat Nov 07, 2009 11:35 am

My PM's are sending erratically. Ones I sent to Patrick (last night) and Milezee (this morning) are still in my outbox. One I sent to Kensey just now got through ok. I used the reply on the PM's they sent me so I am PM'ing existing users and it can't be blamed on my dodgy spelling. Any ideas? Ta.

It just means they're not read yet. When read they no longer appear in Outbox.

They don't leave the outbox until the recipient opens them.

Yeah actually Gumbie's wording is more accurate - there's a difference between "opened" and "read"!

No it's definately not OK. There is no apostrophe in the plural of Private Message (PM) :p

But he might have been using a contraction and the subject could be read as "PM is not leaving outbox".

Better with the apostrophe than risking confusion.

"Help, it's congealed!"
