we have started a brand new figure skating club in south wales and going through exactly the same thing now. the laws have gone crazy with insurance, but we have found two quotes but are around £600. Most wont insure as the are classing skating as a high risk sport, plus now with new legislation you have to have employees insurance even if its all done voluntary. As i get quotes i can send you the companies names and web address to you if it helps...

Are you making it clear that participants are skating at their own risk?

By getting cover for liability will you not immediately be excepting liability?

What events have arisen to make you ask these questions?
