Hi there...new to the forum

i have been skating now for roughly 10 months. I occasionally skate 7-8 miles or so on cycle paths, and play rollerhockey once a week. Along with other skaters whom I got to know through classes, we hire a sports hall once a week and I attend this when I can. I love skating, if I could do it every day I would- work and family keep cropping up at awkward times. Anyway, I look forward to posting on the forum sometime soon. JT

Welcome to the forum. Where are you based? There might be some others in your area that don't know about your sports hall that could help you keep the costs down.

I am based in Ayr, on the West coast of Scotland. The sports hall is in Ayr- Whitletts Activity Centre, it is listed on the Events page of the Tryskating website: http://tryskating.com/skating-events. They are a really friendly and welcoming bunch of guys and girls. jt
