What a great event, even better news is that it will run again next year due to number of people that came out.

But will Ken give us the promised road closure of the embankment every Sunday which was talked about two years ago. The people want it just give to us.

did anyone not think that the absence of water points was quite crap? I was nearly dead, a marshall very kindly gave me her water as I was about to faint (had finished my own supply thinking it would be easy to get some more). Obviously on skates you need it more, but still...

yes they should just do it, but in an ideal world the area would be extended, to the City for example, which is quite empty on a Sunday anyway.

Water was avalible at the main stands along the mall. You could not hand out water on the rout as the contaners and water would have been droped every were.

...but if you desperately needed water at London Bridge, you could hardly be expected to be able to make it all the way up to the Mall without rehydrating. The website said there would be water points along the route and I believed them. Eviltwin, did the organisers tell you that water could not be handed out on the route for that reason, or is a conclusion you came to?

That's a bit assumptive. Which people want it? I don't.

There was a Thames Water tanker just by the Blackfriars Underpass fairly early on. Didn't see it there when i did the second lap though.
