Eastbourne Extreme - 19th to 20th July 2008

Postby Freeman » Tue Jan 15, 2008 7:56 pm

The Eastbourne Skaters Association are proud to announce that Eastbourne Extreme will be taking place on the 19th & 20th July 2008!

As always we have a great line up this weekend and this year, we will be twinned with Le Harve City Council who have a skate event called "Week End de la Glisse" on the 9th, 10th & 11th of May. They will hopefully be bringing over lots of skaters, making Eastbourne Extreme an international event. This year we are going big, you are going not going to want to miss it!

see here for the ESA website http://www.eastbourneskaters.co.uk/

email us at eastbourneskaters@hotmail.co.uk if you have any questions.

More details to follow soon..

Seconded! The Redoubt Fortress is a superb venue for a bit of rollerbopping.

Max, demand the use of that venue. Or else. :P

But I can demonstrate that people like me with a flid leg can still accesss the redoubt! I can still wheel in! (in circles probably)

Hows about we take the big old ramp and make our own access....hehehe..over the wall

And that is what they are still saying this year. They have to get an events licence for the venue and they cant get one of those unless there is disabled access. It does seem so stupid seeing as the chances of seeing someone who is wheelchair bound arnt that great.. but we will keep asking the council for it everytime we see them... even if it is like talking to a brick wall.
