Just to let you know.

Hi Nomes. That's great!

FYI (if you're one of these people), the deadline for advance registration for competitions is the day before the event (12noon on Friday 26th), so there's still plenty of time! It makes things easier for me knowing numbers in advance, but the main reason is because I plan to shop for the packed lunches Friday afternoon, so need to know numbers.

Deadline for advance T-shirt orders is 12noon Monday 15th though, as we need to allow time to get them printed. (y)

Cool, but people don't know this unless you advertise. I'll write a paragraph for WoW if I have time, but I don't think I'll be able to before today's deadline for this weeks newsletter because I'm leaving home now til this afternoon, so why don't you write a few lines yourself to explain this, and send into them? I think it is important that people know this information.

I've written a paragraph for WoW, but I can't find a email address on the LFNS website who to send it to. Does anyone know?

All the details for BattleUK are on the website and I've posted on all the skating forums I know and on Facebook. Any more recommendations of where to advertise? Thanks.

Neither did I until Saturday morning! I got an email from Seb at 9am Saturday saying he's booked flights for Chloe and Julien (Boucry). Flights to Birmingham mind you, not Nottingham, at 10:30am Saturday and could I arrange somebody to collect them. Which I have done. So yes, we will have a token French contingent!

And Polish too, judging by this mornings email! And don't for get Australian (Andrea, owner of Bayside Blades) and Irish (Sinead Howick, 3rd place in the SkateLondon rookie contest)

I just watched the weather and it looks like another wet dreary weekend in London, but we'll all be skating indoors in the dry up in Nottingam so if you want to slalom at all this weekend it looks like your best bet is to book a seat on the bus from London by sending me a pm.

Oh, and advance registration for the BattleUK competitions and the slalom class close tomorrow (Friday 26th March) at 12noon. So, if you haven't yet registered, you'll want to be doing that now. Thanks!
