Bike Ride / Skate on 9/6 & 10/6

A skate / bike ride that will be taking place over the weekend of the 9th & 10th of June.

A group of French skaters are coming over for that weekend. We will be skating from Newhaven to London over 2 days. Other skaters & cyclists are welcome to join the group. We will also have a back-up vehicle accompanying us.

We will be setting off from Newhaven on Saturday morning [9/6] and heading towards Crawley. On Sunday morning we will continue the bike ride / skate from Crawley to Central London [and eventually Stratford].

on 1/9 and 2/9 we'll be doing the 'real thing'

Newhaven to Crawley on Saturday 1/9

Crawley to Parliament Square on Sunday 2/9

The plan for Sunday 2/9 is to leave Crawley at 0900, aiming to arrive in Central London [Parliament Square] early afternoon, then join the Sunday Stroll at Hyde Park Corner.

The Sunday Stroll that week will be going to Victoria Park / the Olympic [Paralympic] Stadium .

Update -

Departure time from Crawley on Sunday 2/9 has now been been brought forward to 8 am to ensure that we get to Parliament Square around midday.

There is a 0702 train from London Victoria that will get you to Three Bridges station at 0748.

Hope to see u guys in Crawley, but if that is too early for you, then do please join us in Chevening Road, Upper Norwood at 1100 instead, for the final section of the Paris to London Skate.

I will hopefully be at the Sunday Stroll tomorrow afternoon, if there are any other queries.

It has been an AMAZING experience so far !

Sparky, Gibran & any other UK skaters who want to join us tomorrow morning - I will be outside Three Bridges station at 0746 to meet anyone coming down to join us, and we can skate together from there to our starting point in Crawley.

If that's too early for you, then we should be re-starting from Upper Norwood at around 1100.

Alan, Kevin, Gibran & Sparky - Thank you guys so much for coming down to Crawley so early this morning. It was great having you guys with us all the way today.

Kevin - I got you their last Mobile en Ville T-shirt. I'm afraid it's a Medium - but I did also get 3 of their Mobile en Ville Hi Viz vests - and they're massive. Will bring them down with me next time I'm on one of our street skates.
