Enjoyed last night a lot. :). But on a sour note it seems that the sloaney pony people
are now unwilling to serve skaters unless we take them off,so I was told by this snotty
manger type last night :x Guess they've been caught out by the elf an safety morons! :x :x
So we'll just go to budgens and buy cans instead :P .

You can't blame a pub for having concerns over people wheeling about with glasses especially when its a busy summers night! There is an off license just down the road, which is also cheaper, so why so annoyed? You can also go to the bar in your liners if need be.

I don't know quite what "elf and safety morons" would say about swerving suddenly sideways into the path of a fully laden Bassfreight without looking back or indicating. I know what I said at the time, and in the circumstances I think I was quite restrained

Asides from the swerving thanks ever so much for riding the bike. Nice to have another safe pair of hands/legs.

I had a brief chat with the chap about what we could or could not do.

Although they will no longer serve drinks to people on skates he is fine if:

- We turn up already pissed.
- We drink our own beer outside and then come in on skates.

They will also serve us drinks if we turn up on 6" stilletos despite having never worn them.

Ha! Are speedskates considered stilletos?

Thanks Dan for riding the bike it looked awfully heavy, but the 90's tunes were awesome, with Becca we practiced many a forgotten club move: the microwave, the stocking of shelves, to the amusement of passer-byes and real concern from the newer skaters, who were very likely too young to remember...(Of course I learnt the moves from youtube, ehem)
