Am open to the idea, but will probably involve van rental or borrowage or something to get them there.

Pretty sure Simon wotno will be up for it, so possibly his Discovery + Trailer. Otherwise if it'll fit in a Renault Espace I've got access to one :)

That's exactly what I was about to ask! If this goes ahead, I think it has to done!

I'd love to bring my ASBOMB along.
I wonder how it would all sound in a tunnel.... probably very loud.

The Hindhead Tunnel is a 1.14 mile long tunnel

How steep is the slope? I can't imnagine it is flat as the current road drops quite steeply from Hindhead going north

Can Panda do it please?

Bassfreight bike can go on a train, if there's a station nearby.... and music/speakers in a car, I'm sure this has been done before? But depends on Stevie's and Sparky's thoughts

I was thinking the same and there is a station in riding distance from the tunnel.

Just what I was wondering as a hill would be fun. Had a look on Google Earth but there's only about 30 metres height difference between the North and South portals, so not much of a slope as it's over a mile long.

Yes however the tunnel does dip under the devils punchbowl I believe (although doesn't go all the way under it) so there is a definite incline to the tunnel.

Thank you to everyone that has already signed. Please continue to sign as we need more for the event to happen. Thank you
